Indirect Haemagglutination Assay (IHA)
The IHA is easy to perform. It does not require special laboratory equipment and offers the advantage of single determinations. Results are available after 2 hours.
The following tests are available:
- Hemkit Aspergillus IHA:
Detection of antibodies to Aspergillus fumigatus.
- Hemkit Candida IHA:
Detection of antibodies to Candida albicans.
- Hemkit Lyme IHA:
Detection of antibodies to Borrelia burgdorferi.
The test antigen is enriched with native OspC (pC) to ensure high sensitivity for the detection of IgM antibodies.
- Leptospiren IHA:
Detection of antibodies to Leptospiren. Leptospira grippothyphosa and Leptospira ictero-haemorraghiae are used as antigens. Due to high cross-reactivity the assay is also suitable for the detection of other serovars (bataviae, australis, javae, pomona, sejroe, hardjo).
